MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The Ag Lending Officer Trainee role involves learning how to develop and maintain customer relationships, sell loan products and services to customers, service loans, and evaluate chattel and real estate. The position requires strong communication and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn through hands-on experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Understanding of farm business management, finance, and rural background
Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, or related field
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to meet with customers and attend off-site events or training
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Capable of gathering, compiling, and organizing information efficiently and accurately
