General Labor
Millwood is accepting applications for the general labor position. The job responsibilities include assisting with hands-on physical labor and the operation of machinery with the goal of streamlining company production and the upkeep of customer satisfaction.

Reports to: Plant Manager and floor supervisors
Position summary:
The General Labor position is essential for maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our operations. This role involves a variety of tasks that support the overall workflow, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. The successful candidate will contribute to a safe and organized work environment, which is crucial for the well-being of all team members. By performing physical tasks and assisting skilled workers, the General Laborer plays a vital role in the success of our projects. Ultimately, this position is key to delivering quality results that meet our clients' expectations.
Duties include:
Must observe all safety guidelines and protocol.
Inspects and repairs pallets for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris, and contamination. Correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.
Lift and carry materials as needed
Ensure materials and products are properly stored to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities.
Sort and stack pallets and materials by size and grade utilizing APC methods
Complete and turn in all required documentation in a timely manner.
Assures compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, State and local codes, OSHA regulations and requirements.
Clean and maintain all responsible work areas in an organized manner.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret imperial system.
Successful completion of pneumatic nailer training.
High school diploma or GED Equivalent
Related experience is preferred.
Good oral and written communication skills
Basic math skills

Requirements:
Ability to pass a drug test
You must be 18 years of age
Physically able to lift 50lbs as needed
Physically ability to stand, bend/stoop, kneel, lift, reach and other physical tasks during an 8-10-hour shift.
Must maintain safe and tidy workspace
Ability to understand and complete job tasks accurately

Starting Pay Rate:$15.00-$18.00 Based on production performance
