Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including case preparation, document management, and trial support, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible legal representation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
Conduct legal research and gather evidence for cases
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring that all documents are accurately filed and updated
Prepare trial exhibits and assist in the presentation of evidence during trials
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather pertinent information
Review and summarize depositions, medical records, and other relevant documents
Assist with case management and coordination of deadlines for filings and court appearances
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an accredited program
Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on workers comp
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
Proficient in legal research tools and case management software
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with workers' compensation cases is a plus - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
