**Entry Level Data Specialist**

Groveport, OH

(To Start, it will be on site 5 days Monday-Friday, the role can move to hybrid in the future.

Contract to hire: 6-12 months

(Light Industrial / Warehouse setting)

Apex Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Entry Level **Data Specialist** to join our team on a 6-month contract (can be extended if need be). The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large amounts of data, validating information using online research or AI tools, and ensuring database accuracy and consistency. This role has the potential to grow into a long-term position supporting AI-driven projects if the candidate is the right fit.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Review, clean, and maintain data sets to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Use research methods (Google, AI tools, etc.) to confirm and validate details.

• Understand basic database concepts and data structures.

• Support the development of a process where new part numbers are submitted through a form and validated with AI.

• Assist in implementing AI models to auto-populate part attributes when confidence levels meet defined thresholds.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing AI and data management initiatives.

**Qualifications:**

• Prior experience in data entry, data management, or database-related work.

• Comfortable using AI tools and online research to validate data.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic understanding of databases and data structures.

• Interest in learning and developing into a role supporting AI-driven initiatives.
