Responsibilities:

Global/ Local Category Management in the technical area (Capex, MRO, etc). Experience in other areas is desirable but not a requirement

Independent procurement of (turnkey) production equipment and its maintenance services including MRO

Responsible of all procurement relevant processes and project tasks in project procurement in the assigned area in a global environment (e.g. supplier pre-selection, cost analysis, contract negotiations, etc) including coordination with the relevant internal stakeholders

Creation and Implementation of global category and supplier strategies

Perform market analysis in assigned category, supplier selection and risk management

Identify and implement potential synergies and measures to achieve savings and cost avoidance targets

Negotiating and establishing Frame agreements with domestic and global suppliers

Supplier Onboarding and phase-out

Regular internal reporting focused on Projects, Cost Savings and Cost avoidance etc.

Qualifications:

Degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical technician or several years of professional experience in the field of technical purchasing/materials management of Machinery and services or comparable qualification
