JOB SUMMARY:

As a Local Class A CDL Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport products from our warehouse to various customers, ensuring proper delivery and unloading in accordance with customer invoices and company standards.

Unload products from the trailer using hand carts or manually, adhering to customer specifications and company standards under various weather conditions.

Complete all necessary paperwork in line with company and governmental guidelines, including DOT logs, inspections, and vehicle maintenance reports.

Adhere to food safety protocols, ensuring proper product temperatures during transport, inspecting for damage, and maintaining sanitary conditions.

Cultivate strong relationships with customers through exceptional service and clear communication.

Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma/GED/equivalent plus a year of tractor trailer driving experience, or completion of a driving school.

At least 1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience is required. Experience in food/beverage delivery is a plus.

CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting practices, along with the skill to navigate diverse terrains and weather conditions is essential. Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and the aptitude to work independently are also crucial.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to sit, talk, and hear regularly and lift or move products weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as handle up to 350 pounds with a hand cart. Requires climbing in and out of trucks, bending, twisting, and reaching to load and unload products.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work conditions may vary; be prepared to work in cold, hot, or humid conditions, and confined spaces. This position often requires night shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
