The Opportunity
At Goodwill, your work changes lives. As a Material Handler, you're the engine of our stores safely receiving, sorting, and preparing donations so they can be sold to support our mission.
What You'll Do
Inspect, categorize, and route textiles, wares, and electronics to the correct streams; identify salvage vs. saleable goods.
Follow quality standards and price/tag guidelines to prepare goods for the sales floor efficiently.
Stage, replenish, and rotate merchandise (FIFO) to maintain fresh, well-stocked departments.
Keep docks and processing areas clean and hazard-free; use carts, pallet jacks, and (if trained) balers/compactors and other equipment safely; follow all PPE and safety procedures.
Meet daily processing targets (pieces per hour) and support store throughput, image, and donation experience.
Assist on the sales floor during rushes; help with backroom organization, donations-in, and transfers as needed.

What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous warehouse, retail backroom, distribution, or production experience a plus (we'll train the right person).
Reliable, safety-minded, organized, and team-oriented; able to follow standard operating procedures and meet targets.
Work in backroom/dock environment with varying temperatures; use PPE as required.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Reliable transportation and commitment to a drug-free workplace
