Schedule: Full-time

BWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Serve as the Executive Assistant and strategic partner to the Superintendent of the Office of Safety Services (OSS), supporting mission critical safety initiatives.

Provide high level administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, meeting prep, and handling confidential materials.

Act as a liaison across divisions and with external partners, managing communications and priorities on behalf of the Superintendent.

Develop and evaluate policies and procedures to align OSS operations with BWC's strategic goals.

Support safety and outreach projects, including compliance, grants, research, and stakeholder engagement.

Prepare and deliver professional reports and presentations for internal and external audiences, including industry partners.

Oversee HR coordination and office operations, including onboarding, travel, and records management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

To Qualify, You Must Clearly Demonstrate:

4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration.

Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration AND 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.

Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file AND 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.

Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122.

Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
