Key Responsibilities

As a Construction Project Manager at Build Strong, you’ll be entrusted with leading high-value projects from start to finish while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellence. You will:

Oversee the full project lifecycle—from permitting and groundbreaking to construction and closeout—ensuring seamless execution at every stage.

Lead the estimating and bidding process by scoping subcontractors, evaluating proposals, and finalizing accurate, competitive estimates.

Collaborate with the Sales team to align pricing strategies with project goals and client expectations.

Drive project success by monitoring schedules, budgets, and key milestones while proactively resolving challenges.

Coordinate across stakeholders including vendors, inspectors, and permitting authorities to keep projects moving forward.

Maintain precise documentation of RFIs, change orders, progress reports, and other critical project records.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in construction project management or estimating.

Proficient in reading plans, drawings, and specifications to define scopes of work.

Familiarity with estimating/project management tools such as ProEst, Buildertrend, or Procore.

Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing residential design-build or luxury construction projects.

Existing relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and inspectors in the Los Angeles area.

Proven ability to optimize bidding strategies for profitability and competitiveness.

Leadership style that motivates teams while maintaining accountability and quality.
