Job Description
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping as needed.
Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
Support clients with medication reminders (as directed and within scope of practice).
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote a positive and safe environment.
Assist with transfers, positioning, and range of motion exercises as directed by care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and observations.
Follow the agency’s policies, procedures, and care plans to ensure quality service delivery.
Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Current PCA, HHA, or CNA certification preferred (training available for qualified candidates).
Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or healthcare setting is a plus.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Must pass background check and reference verification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
