About the Role:

Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting

Perform detailed cost accounting and inventory analysis

Reconcile standard costs to actual production costs and investigate variances

Support budgeting and forecasting processes with operational insights

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and production teams to align financial data with business performance

Assist with audits and prepare supporting documentation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)

4+ years of accounting experience, with ideally 2 years in a manufacturing environment

An understanding of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
