Title: Light Industrial - Assembler

Location: Columbus Ohio 43085

Duration: 6+ Months

Shift: 1st Shift 6:00am to 3:30pm Daily and Sat O/T possible

Pay Range: : 19.00 - 20.00

Job Description:

Job Summary

The Transformer Assembler is responsible for the assembly of transformer units, including stacking laminated steel cores, inserting coils, and finalizing the unit. This position works closely with the Engineering team and Plant Management to ensure high-quality product output.

Key Responsibilities

Cut steel to size within 0.002 inches tolerance.

Assemble transformers and stack laminated steel to form cores.

Complete transformer assembly by inserting coils and finalizing stack.

Operate various tools and machinery including:

Transformer Test Equipment

Ratchet Gun

Strip Cutting Machines

Air Tools

Band Saw

Belt Sander

Hoist

Shears

Various Hand Tools

Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, attendance, and break schedules.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be available to work overtime as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing position.Company Description
