Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30); Includes every third weekend
Job Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations with a primary focus on neuro, abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging.
Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
Start peripheral IVs as part of patient preparation.
Operate Siemens MRI equipment and utilize PACS for image management.
Conduct special imaging procedures including MIP, MRP, gradient echo imaging, spin echo images, diffusion imaging (non-brain), perfusion, spectroscopy, and more.
Handle a daily caseload of approximately 35-40 scans.
Provide coverage on weekends as part of a rotating schedule.
Float to other units as needed within the radiology department. Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Strong proficiency in imaging areas including:
Abdomen and pelvis (male and female)
Brain, face/neck
Spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
Chest
Musculoskeletal (hip, knee, shoulder)
Experience working in high-acuity settings such as ER/trauma and adult acute care.
Prior experience using Siemens MRI systems.
Comfortable with contrast administration and special imaging post-processing techniques.
Must be willing to work a full-time 40-hour week and every third weekend.
