Job Overview
As a Remote Content Writer / Copywriter, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality content for a wide variety of clients and industries. This includes blog posts, website copy, case studies, email campaigns, social media posts, and more. You will collaborate with our creative, marketing, and strategy teams to produce content that resonates with audiences, drives brand awareness, and supports client goals.
This is a fully remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere, as long as you can meet deadlines and produce top-tier work.
Key Responsibilities
Create Engaging Content: Write blog posts, website copy, email newsletters, product descriptions, social media content, and other marketing materials that align with client objectives and brand voice.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with account managers, designers, and strategists to develop content that meets both client needs and audience preferences.
Research Industry Trends: Conduct in-depth research to understand the client’s industry, target audience, and competitors, ensuring content is relevant and up-to-date.
Edit and Revise Content: Proofread and edit your own work, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality.
SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to increase the visibility and performance of content across search engines.
Develop Creative Campaigns: Write compelling copy for various campaigns, including paid ads, email marketing, and social media posts, aimed at driving conversions.
Adapt to Different Voices: Produce content that matches the tone and voice of various brands, from professional corporate language to more conversational, casual styles.
Meet Deadlines: Manage multiple writing projects at once and consistently meet deadlines.
Requirements
Proven Writing Experience: 2+ years of experience as a content writer, copywriter, or in a similar writing role. A portfolio of your work (blog posts, articles, ads, etc.) is required.
Exceptional Writing Skills: Strong command of grammar, syntax, and style, with the ability to adapt to different voices and tones.
SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research and optimization.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to edit your own work for grammar, spelling, and clarity.
Time Management Skills: Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Team Player: While this is a remote position, you should have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Proficient in Content Management Tools: Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress and marketing tools such as HubSpot or Mailchimp is a plus.
Experience in B2B Marketing is preferred but not required.
Nice to Have
Experience with content strategy, including audience personas and content mapping.
Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and how to write copy that drives conversions.
Familiarity with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) for creating content that includes visuals.
