Job Summary: To provide technical support towards the implementation of the Communication and Public Relations Strategy of Legal Room Key Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct media monitoring to assess participation of clients on all Legal Room social media platforms and generate reports.
Research current trends and audience preferences on social media to create relevant content.
Provide feedback to user inquiries and comments by Clients on the Legal Room media platforms.
Produce real-time social media updates for all Legal Room events.
Build capacity for Legal Room staff to utilise Social media (WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X) Assist in the development and execution of communication and public relations plans and strategies Ensure consistent Legal Room Clinics messaging across all communications platforms.
Participate in the media relations and outreach, and in activities aimed at promoting Legal Room's image.
Maintain media calendars, appointments and support media engagements.
Provide administrative support to the Marketing team in tracking marketing activities according to deadlines.
Assist in drafting and editing internal and external communication articles (E.g.
publications, press releases, social media posts). Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Qualifications: Bachelor of Journalism and Communication, or Bachelor of Mass Communication or Bachelor of Mass Communication and Journalism or Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Public Relations from a recognised Awarding Institution.
Experience: At least 3 years of working experience at the level of Communications Assistant in a public or any other reputable private organisation Competences: Effective Communication Skills Good Interpersonal skills Understanding of social media and digital communication skills Planning, organising and coordinating Ethics and integrity Information Technology
