Lead Civil/Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, analysis, and review of civil and structural engineering deliverables for the project.

Provide technical guidance to project teams, contractors, and consultants.

Ensure compliance with international codes, standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocodes), and client specifications.

Conduct structural calculations, load analysis, and foundation design for onshore/offshore facilities.

Supervise preparation of drawings, material specifications, and construction documents.

Perform site inspections, resolve technical issues, and support construction teams.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation).

Ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of project deliverables.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Minimum 15+ years of experience in civil/structural design, preferably in oil & gas projects.

Chartered Engineer (CEng/PE) preferred.

Consultancy experience with Kent, Wood, Worley, BCCES, or Technip

Strong QatarEnergy project background

Valid Qatar Engineering License (MME/MMUP/UPDA)

Strong knowledge of STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.

Skills:

Leadership, problem-solving, and team coordination.

Strong project management and communication skills.

Familiarity with Qatar/local regulations is an advantage.
