KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. KBR is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory (SETA) services in Australia. If the successful candidate is in CONUS, relocation to the customer site may be approximately 4 months after completing Government Customer requirements. Relocation assistance is provided if needed as well as housing stipend, cost of living, and other allowances for the duration of the tour.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) field required (contractual requirement) and three (3) years or more relevant experience; master’s and one (1) years or more experience.
Demonstrated success performing project management and systems engineering tasks
Knowledge of SIGINT space and ground architecture including mission control and/or mission processing functions
Program lifecycle experience from concept development and design to deployment, operations and maintenance, decommission; familiar with related control gates and associated documentation
Experience with CONOPS and requirements development, systems analysis, interface control documentation, technical specification review, validation and verifications
Self-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics
Polished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment
Strength in collaborating and coordinating with multiple stakeholders -- consensus builder
Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Outlook, MS Project

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
