EC&I Maintenance Technician required on Cargill Seaforth, Liverpool

Job Description
To provide electrical & instrument support to the maintenance department to carry out repairs on all plant equipment and associated equipment in safe, timely and efficient manner.
Complete maintenance work orders generated by SAP.
Carry out other support maintenance work when required.
Ensure all machinery and equipment on site is both electrically and mechanically safe.
Work with production closely when prioritising workload.
Generate pre job hazard assessment and risk assessment in order to obtain the safety permits when required.
Provide feedback and improvement on work done & ideas on the SAP system.
Job Structure
The work consists of 37.5 hours per week, 07:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday.
Call out element to the role, on a 1 week in 5 rota - 7-day period, call out hours and JIB travel expenses paid in addition to on call payment. Minimum 4 hours paid per call out.
If called out after 12 midnight, sleep time the following working day is applicable, i.e if you have been called out and you are out for 3 hours you will only need to attend site at 10:30 to start your normal daytime shift and finish at the normal shift end time that day.
You will be working with a team split across three sites in North Liverpool, rotation between sites (1.5 miles apart) at a month at a time until you are up to speed with the site operations. Call out element of the role will apply when the site engineer confirms you have had enough training/exposure to both sites.
When you are initially on call you will have a contact number as back up for assistance with any faults.
Education, Experience, Skills & Competencies
Recognised Electrical & Instrumentation Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Completion.
HNC certificate or equivalent in Electrical / Instrument / Control Engineering.
BS 7671 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
CompEx Ex01-04
Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably SAP
Work and practical knowledge of inverters, soft starts, 3 phase motors and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's),
Work and practical knowledge of measuring instrumentation and associated communication protocols (Profibus/Digital/Conventional).
Basic mechanical skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.

Commitment to health and safety procedures, risk systems, permit to work procedures and auditing.
Good communication skills.
Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles preferred - RCM, RCA or FMEA.
