Plumber

Location: Columbus, OH

Employment Type: Full-time Non-exempt

Compensation: $25-$35/hour DOE + overtime

Schedule: Monday-Friday; occasional evenings/weekends as needed

Role Summary

Skilled plumber to install, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems while ensuring full code compliance, safety, and a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain water, drain, vent, and gas systems (fixtures, water heaters, pumps).

Perform accurate diagnostics; document findings, parts, and labor in work orders.

Conduct preventive maintenance and code-compliant corrections.

Read/interpret plans, isometrics, and cut sheets; coordinate with GC/owners.

Follow OSHA and company safety procedures; maintain clean, stocked vehicle.

Provide clear, professional customer communication. Qualifications

Valid Ohio Plumbing License (Journeyman or higher preferred).

2+ years verifiable residential or commercial service experience.

Proficiency with IPC/Ohio code, brazing/soldering, press systems (e.g., ProPress), PVC/CPVC, PEX, copper, and cast-iron no-hub.

Able to use mobile work-order apps; basic blueprint reading.

Valid driver's license and clean MVR; ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and on ladders. Benefits
