IT Test Analyst
Columbus, Ohio
Hybrid - 3 days in office per week (flexible on which days are in office)
The QA Analyst will be a member of an agile development product team. This individual will work closely with a diverse group of cross-functional partners to deliver digital capabilities on non-customer facing content management applications. This role will support the QA Lead and operate in 2 week sprints. This role will be expected to write test cases, test defects, prioritize work and other activities defined in the test approach for the development sprint. The ideal candidate is an experienced analyst within QA who enjoys working in a collaborative setting with all disciplines and has a passion for testing and creating a great customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Create, execute test cases and validation procedures established by the QA lead through each sprint cycle and production releases
Raise, document, triage defects uncovered during the sprint for prioritization and mitigation
Regularly update the regression test suites following the regression approach led by the test lead
Plan, execute production test activities to validate the overall site and checkout flows immediately following a production release
Setup test inventory/data/order needs in development environments
Participate in requirement grooming and 3 amigo sessions
Contribute feedback and QA estimation sizing each sprint
Assist product team needs/testing during the facilitation of final User Acceptance Testing
Participate in all team scrum activities
Report overall test prep and execution progress metrics/data to the QA Lead
Participate in activities led by the QA Lead with other product team QA members to unlock dependencies and leverage shared test data, systems, services
Drive continuous learning and improvement from the testing perspective Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years holding a QA Analyst Role with a focus on e-commerce, user experience, website testing
QA ecommerce Digital experience (UX Testing)
Content management
Test application and low code solution tool skills
1 or more years of testing on a team that follows Scrum/Agile methodologies
Experience with setting up and executing test plans supporting integration testing, regression testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing
Expertise in mapping test cases to corresponding requirements and building out a requirement matrix
Experience with supporting and contributing to test scope identification, test requirements management, test case development, test scheduling, and defect management activities
Mable automation testing framework or other low code solution tools is ideal Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with third-party applications including but not limited to Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or other test management tools
Experience working with third-party vendors and testing third party applications
Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills with IT and Business audiences
