In this role, you'll provide comprehensive care, diagnose and manage health conditions, prescribe treatments, and empower patients through education and support.
Deliver Patient Care:
Perform thorough physical exams and gather detailed patient histories.
Diagnose health conditions and create customized treatment plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions as needed.
Manage both acute and chronic health issues with skill and compassion. Patient Education and Support:
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and lifestyle changes.
Provide preventive care services, including immunizations and health screenings.
Promote long-term wellness through counseling and health maintenance strategies. Collaborate with Healthcare Teams:
Work closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Participate in case discussions and offer input on patient care strategies.
Mentor and support clinical staff when needed. Monitor Progress & Ensure Compliance:
Track patient progress and update care plans as conditions evolve.
Maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare laws and organizational standards.
Stay current on medical advances and ensure HIPAA-compliant practices. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Texas.
Board Certification (FNP, AGNP, etc.) required.
BLS and ACLS certifications preferred. Ideal Candidate:
Prior experience as an NP or RN is a plus, but new grads are welcome!
Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
