Maintenance and Cleaning Clerk

Job Summary

Join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club as a Maintenance and Cleaning Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members by performing general maintenance and cleaning duties. You will also be responsible for ensuring that carts are well-stocked at the club entrance and for gathering and returning carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance to ensure ready access for club members.

Key Responsibilities

Provide prompt and courteous service and assistance to members

Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the club including sales floor, offices, restrooms, and outdoor grounds

Gather and return carts and flatbeds to the club entrance, removing any trash or debris from the parking lot and cart corrals

Verify that all carts are in working order and clean, removing carts that are not suitable for use

Perform maintenance and cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and washing glass

Operate floor scrubber, trash compactor, and cardboard baler machines

Restock maintenance/cleaning supplies and perform minor routine building repairs

Follow all club policies and procedures
