The Rehabilitation Program Coordinator is currently licensed to practice physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy in the State of Ohio. The staff member will work across rehabilitation departments within Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center, overseeing programming that encompasses physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy clinical, educational, research and/or quality programming. The rehabilitation program coordinator is responsible for assuring the integrity, compliance, and quality of rehabilitation at OSUWMC, including joint oversight with various programmatic team leads, quality, evidence-based practice leads, supervisors, managers and directors.

The Rehab Services Program Coordinator will report directly to the Rehab Services Manager with guidance from the Rehab Services Administrator, Directors, and Associate Directors. The Program Coordinator is responsible for ownership of programs and initiatives within the designated clinical area/service line, coordinating communication between key stakeholders (clinical, administrative, leadership) to develop and maintain programs, provide regular education and counseling to staff (clinical and non-clinical) to meet competencies, promote evidence-based practice, and support departmental initiatives to enact processes leading to best practices within the profession(s).

Minimum Qualifications

Required: The Rehab Services Coordinator will hold current licensure with the State of Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training Board or Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board, per their clinical discipline. One year of relevant experience required.

Preferred: Experience with interdepartmental and/or interdisciplinary communication and coordination.
