HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour

Night Out Allowance: £25.00 per night

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Tramping Driver to join our team based in Hereford.

This is a tramping position, typically running Monday to Friday, involving nationwide deliveries of palletised and general haulage goods.

You'll be expected to night out in the vehicle and must be confident working independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out nationwide deliveries and collections of palletised freight

Complete vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork

Ensure all goods are delivered safely, on time, and in good condition

Maintain cleanliness and care of the assigned vehicle

Comply with all tachograph, driver hours, and road transport regulations

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience preferred

Must be willing to tramper Monday-Friday

Good communication skills and a professional attitude
