Reports to: Sales Director, Philippines
Regional Commercial Sales Director (South Luzon & Bicol Region)
As a Regional Commercial Sales Director, you will grow and build the JTI business in the assigned territory via development and implementation of the Sales strategy in line with JTI Philippines growth agenda, measured by commercial KPI (volume, distribution, SOM, etc.) and people KPI (engagement rate, compliance, attrition rate, promotion rate, etc.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Develop and implement Sales Strategy for assigned Region through strategic and operational business planning, exploring and suggesting business opportunities, qualitative forecasting of Sales Volume.
Focus on Region Sales / Volume and Distribution targets, effective portfolio management, trade marketing programs implementation and product placement in the respective Region
Control Region’s Sales performance through KPI’s regular monitoring, measurement and evaluation, based on internal and external data.
Initiate and control implementation of immediate corrective actions if observed status shows negative deviations vs. expected results.
Monitor and assess competition activity in the Region, market trends, economy, demography, consumer behavior in order to initiate proactive measurements and actions that will allow JTI to develop and gain competitive edge and as well that will protect and secure JTI business.
Being a part of Sales Leadership Team, work in close collaboration with the Sales Director, all M&S functions and departments in order to maximize trade relationships effectiveness, distributor partnership, implementation of relevant plans & programs and effective RTM strategy in line with Company strategy.
Support Sales team through implementation and effective management of proper Route to Market strategy (coverage, distribution, OOS management, execution at POS in all distribution channels: General trade, Modern trade, Wholesales and HoReCa) that will ensure achievement of all Region’s strategic goals in line with ASP plans.
Lead the Sales Force team in the Region (average HC 550-600 FTE) ensuring talent development, career progression, efficient hiring and retention.
Ensure high engagement level, productivity and moral of employees in the Region
Oversee JTI Compliance agenda and work in collaboration with P&C and Security on prevention of Labor/Compliance cases in assigned area.
YOU ARE/HAVE:
MA/BA Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics, Finance.
Min 10 years’ experience in FMCG Sales and Marketing, Senior Field Operations, KA management and Distribution management experience
Proven people management and leadership skills
Strategic thinker and a self-starter
Ability to build trust and collaboration across teams
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Excellent stakeholders' management skills
Ability to turn complex data into insights and strategy
High sense of ownership and entrepreneurial skills
Commercial, trade & financial planning skills
Target oriented
Consumer marketing knowledge
Adept with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
Fluency in English & Tagalog
