This critical leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in overseeing large-scale warehouse operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring seamless inventory, logistics, and distribution performance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of warehouse and supply chain management, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of multiple warehouse facilities across the Atlantic region.
Ensure smooth daily operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Develop and implement KPIs and metrics to monitor performance, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs.
Oversee staffing, training, and workforce planning to maintain high productivity and compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, procurement, and transportation to streamline operations.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality control requirements.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and technologies to enhance warehouse performance.
Lead and manage warehouse audits, inventory accuracy checks, and risk assessments.
Build a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence across all sites.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior leadership on operational performance and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
Proven expertise in leading multi-site or high-volume warehouse operations.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP), shipping/receiving protocols, and lean methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop teams and manage change in a dynamic environment.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Health and Safety certifications and knowledge of relevant provincial regulations are strong assets.
