VP / Director HR Staffing (Healthcare)

Arise Talent Hub is a growing, dynamic staffing and recruitment agency dedicated to delivering top-tier talent across healthcare and allied sectors. We are seeking an experienced and strategic VP / Director of HR – Staffing to lead and enhance our healthcare recruitment operations in Alberta. This is a key leadership role, combining strategic oversight, business development, and operational excellence to ensure delivery of high-quality workforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee full-cycle recruitment for healthcare roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing highly qualified candidates.

Develop and implement strategic HR and staffing initiatives aligned with organizational goals and client needs.

Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, understanding their workforce requirements and delivering customized staffing solutions.

Drive business development efforts by identifying new healthcare clients and expanding existing accounts.

Mentor and manage recruitment teams, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and high-quality candidate experience.

Monitor industry trends, labor market dynamics, and competitor activity to refine staffing strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.

Ensure adherence to employment standards, regulatory requirements, and internal HR policies.

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to optimize recruitment processes and improve client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in healthcare staffing or recruitment, with progressive leadership responsibility.

Proven track record in business development and client relationship management in healthcare or staffing sectors.

Strong knowledge of healthcare roles, regulations, and labor market trends in Alberta.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to mentor, motivate, and manage a high-performing recruitment team.
