Data Analyst- Quality Control

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Data Analyst in Quality Control with strong technical knowledge in automated inspection systems to support continuous improvement and ensure product quality in ablow molding manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will collect, analyze, and interpret production and quality data, while optimizing inspection system performance and driving data-based decisions for process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Collect, analyze, and interpret production, quality, and process data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.

Manage and maintain automated inspection systems, ensuring calibration, functionality, and accuracy.

Develop and generate real-time dashboards and reports for production and quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, downtime, scrap).

Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Support root cause analysis and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes.

Monitor performance of Uniloy blow molding machines and associated inspection systems to maintain quality standards.

Validate inspection system performance and recommend adjustments or upgrades as needed.

Maintain data integrity and documentation per quality management system (QMS) requirements.

Participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC).

Qualifications

2+ years in a manufacturing quality or data analyst role.

Experience in Uniloy blow molding operations strongly preferred.

Hands-on experience with automated inspection systems (e.g., vision systems, sensors, cameras).

Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Minitab, SQL).

Familiarity with SPC, DOE, and root cause analysis methodologies.

Understanding of PLC and control systems is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally and drive improvement initiatives.Company Description
