This role offers a strategic opportunity for a commercially driven professional to lead business development initiatives focused on oil & gas logistics. The successful candidate will identify growth opportunities, cultivate strategic partnerships, and expand service offerings across key energy hubs. This position provides high-level exposure and direct impact on regional revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Client Development
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil & gas logistics segment
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, EPCs, and NOCs/IOCs
• Develop tailored logistics solutions aligned with client supply chain needs
• Lead contract negotiations and pricing strategy with commercial insight
Strategic Growth Planning
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define growth targets and regional priorities
• Support the development of go-to-market plans for new service offerings
Project & Tender Management
• Lead technical and commercial proposals for major tenders and RFQs
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery capabilities align with bids
• Monitor post-award project execution to ensure client satisfaction and retention
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with operations, finance, and compliance teams to align on service delivery
• Contribute to the development of marketing materials and client presentations
• Represent the company at industry events and networking forums
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 8 years' experience in business development or commercial roles within oil & gas logistics
• Proven track record in client acquisition and revenue growth in the GCC region
• Strong understanding of offshore logistics, rig moves, and energy supply chain requirements
• Experience working with NOCs, IOCs, and EPC contractors in the Middle East
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
