About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive our product vision, strategy, and execution. This pivotal role acts as the primary liaison between stakeholders and engineering, owning the product backlog and championing Agile/Scrum practices.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, business teams, and engineering, ensuring clear alignment on vision, goals, and priorities.
Own the product backlog: define, refine, and prioritize epics, user stories, and tasks to maximize value delivery.
Champion agile practices within the team: facilitate ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming) and ensure adoption of best practices.
Translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables, maintaining a balance between short-term priorities and long-term strategy.
Collaborate closely with engineers, QA, UX, and other cross-functional members to deliver features that meet user needs and align with organizational goals.
Monitor product progress, identify blockers, and proactively resolve issues to maintain velocity.
Continuously assess product performance and gather feedback from stakeholders and end users to inform iterations and improvements.
Act as Scrum Master when required, guiding the team to self-organize, maintain focus, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Ensure transparency on progress, priorities, and risks by providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Drive initiatives to enhance scalability, user experience, and operational efficiency across the platform.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in product ownership or related roles in software product development (or demonstrated equivalent expertise).
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and ability to effectively facilitate agile ceremonies.
Proven track record of managing product backlogs, translating requirements into user stories, and delivering features in an iterative development environment.
Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in fast-paced, complex product ecosystems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
Strong analytical skills and experience with product metrics, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, microservices, API integrations, etc.) is a plus.
Background or exposure in Scrum Master responsibilities, including coaching teams on agile practices and fostering continuous improvement.
Collaborative mindset, with proven ability to influence and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Timezone
