GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for patching all lifter holes that are not required for moving and erecting panels prior to the panels going into storage. Repair all damage that panels may acquire and finish them to an acceptable standard.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Patch any spalls, cracks, or damage that panels may acquire in the process of stripping, handling or loading
Patch all lifting inserts that are not required in the moving process or for erection
Ensure that finishing area is kept clean and safe for all employees to work in
Remove all slurry from brick surfaces prior to panels being washed
Rub smear coat on all panels that require such a repair
Complete all yard modifications in a timely manner as they are directed by the supervisor
Remove and replace all brick that are marked by Quality Control for repair
Install any hardware required by engineering (this will be shown on the panel tickets and hardware should be ready for installation)
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
High school education preferred but not required
Basic team skills
Ability to follow complex instructions
Basic planning/organization skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally
Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day
Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequently
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as work boots, hard hats, work gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
Must be able to use various hand tools or controls
WORKING CONDITIONS
Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements
Moderate to high risk of safety precautions
Moderate to high exposure to production environment
Wet, hot, humid, and wintry conditions (weather related) (plant specific)
Ability to work outside year-round (plant specific)
