This position will be an integral member of the Penn Mutual Asset Management (PMAM) team and will develop a strong understanding of the markets and provide significant input into decision making by presenting opinions and influencing investment decisions.

Candidate Note: This role is a Hybrid role which will require an in-office presence in the Philadelphia area.

Responsibilities

Responsible for credit research in assigned sectors which may include structured securities, investment-grade or high-yield securities. Provide forward-looking credit opinions on securities and sectors

Present investment ideas to the team in both formal and informal environments

Develop financial models and conduct industry research

Skills and Abilities

Proven analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills

Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Strong decision making skills

The ability to effectively influence others

The ability to work in a fast paced high energy environment

Experience working in a trading floor environment and ability to deal with distractions and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Knowledge of Derivative Solutions and Bloomberg is a plus

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or Economics Required

Experience

0-5 Years Investment experience Required

Location: Conshohocken, PA (Hybrid work schedule)

Base salary: $95,000 - $115,000
