We are looking for a candidate (F/M) for the position of Services Program and Commercial Manager VIE. The candidate will be responsible for achieving defined sales targets for Services organization of Salzgitter Location. The Commercial Manager owns the customer strategy and is accountable for the growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. To do so your role will require to handle opportunities from Costing, Technical and Commercial offer preparation, negotiation with customer till Project execution with respect of QCD.

Responsibilities & Activities

Handle requests, prepare offers, and draft contracts

Ensure compliance with golden rules such as pricing policy

Identify opportunities for service offerings and define priorities

Achieve and exceed targets in terms of margin and turnover

Comply with global strategy and sales objectives

Collaborate closely with Sales Managers and support Services Execution teams and other internal departments

Lead costing and pricing of opportunities

Execute and deliver small-size projects with a focus on achieving QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery)

Analyze data related to sales types, cost contributors, profit share, and win/loss outcomes

Build comparison models to assess real profitability versus estimated cost-based profitability

Contribute to and continuously improve work processes and methods

Job Technical skills

Engineering background with commercial experience or a Commercial Degree

Technical understanding is a plus

Strong customer and service orientation

Knowledge of contract management

Strategic mindset and team player

Strong negotiation skills

Experience and project management mindset

Job Soft Skills

Good level of skills in MS Office, Gantt, and SAP

Excellent communication, analytical skills, and execution orientation

Strong commitment, flexibility, and ability to act independently and self-reliantly

Systematic and quality-oriented working style

Confident and communicative in English, especially with international customers and suppliers

Autonomous working approach
