Stabilization Therapist, LSW/LPC

Pay: $59,000- $63,000 commiserate with experience

Sign-on Bonus: $2500

Stabilization Therapists with National Youth Advocate Program work in the community providing services that make meaningful impacts for youth and their families'. This position works with high- acuity/ needs youth with the focus of stabilization.Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, this position works closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners, providing advocacy and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provides appropriate individual, group, and family mental health services, intervention and other evidence basedclinical servicesas required.

• Travels daily, to provide community basedservices to, and on behalf of, youth andfamilies incompliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinates and monitorsclinical servicesfor the youth and family in the community, including mental health,specialeducational services, medication management, andpsychological services.

• Regularly reviews and modifies youth-basedplans.

• Establishes andmaintains strongrelationship with foster parents andfamilies of origin.

• Assists in family reunification and stabilizationefforts with the youth's primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youth's case plan.

• Provides safetyassessment,crisis response, and behavioral stabilization servicesas required.

• Flexible availability, including weekends and scheduledon-call rotation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited institution.

• A valid professional license (LSW, LPC) as required and acceptable by state or contract regulations.

• Experience working with youth and foster care, required.

• Must have flexible availability including evenings.

• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.

Driving and Vehicle Requirements

Valid driver's license

Reliable personal transportation

Good driving record

Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
