Job Summary
As a Server/Beverage Cart Attendant, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience at Whirlwind. You'll serve food and drinks in the clubhouse, operate the beverage cart on the course, and assist with banquet service for golf tournaments and special events. Shifts typically range from 7 to 9 hours, and this role offers variety, a great team atmosphere, and the opportunity to work in a beautiful outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver friendly, attentive table service in the clubhouse, including greeting guests, presenting menus, making recommendations, relaying special requests to the kitchen, and clearing tables
Operate and maintain the beverage cart: stock supplies, serve food and drinks on the course, and ensure safe, courteous driving
Support banquets and golf tournaments with event setup, food and beverage service, and post-event cleanup
Accurately process transactions using the POS system, including cash, credit card, and member charges
Comply with all Arizona liquor laws and food safety regulations
Keep service areas, carts, and workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked
Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and banquet teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
Track inventory levels and promptly report restocking needs
Properly open and pour wine at the tableside
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
Consistently provide outstanding hospitality with a professional, team-first attitude Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol in Arizona
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be available to work shifts ranging from 7 to 9 hours, including weekends and holidays
Valid driver's license required (for beverage cart use)
Prior dining and customer service experience preferred
Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler's Card and Arizona Title IV Alcohol Certification
Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona weather (sun, heat, wind)
Able to read, write and communicate effectively
Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification
Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English Perks & Benefits
