ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens / Travel Nurse

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85037 (Arizona healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: November 24, 2025

End Date: February 23, 2026

Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Hours per Week: 36

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020

On-Site Position

On-call and weekend schedules: Determined by facility

ICU RN Qualifications

Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent ICU nursing experience required

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona with no license restrictions

Current certifications (AHA or American Red Cross):

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NIH Stroke Scale

Travel nurse experience preferred

Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)

Must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license

Compliance with all facility background and onboarding requirements

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support interventions

Educate patients and families on care plans and post-ICU recovery

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
