Radiologic Technologist Job Details

Location: Columbus, OH 43214 (Ohio healthcare jobs)

Setting: Heart & Vascular – Electrophysiology Lab

Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)

Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30)

Call: 2 weeknight calls per pay period (17:30–19:30) and weekend call (08:00–12:00) for up to 4 weekends per assignment

Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics

Average Daily Census: 20–23 cases across 4 procedural labs

Estimated Weekly Salary: $2490 - $2670

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist (EP Lab or cardiac cath lab preferred)

Graduate of an accredited radiography program

ARRT certification (Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

ODH Ohio Radiologic License (required for Ohio radiology jobs)

BLS & ACLS certifications

Prior travel healthcare experience required

Strong knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology

Experience with electronic charting systems

Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from central Columbus (per eligibility requirements)

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

Assist Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists in both non-invasive and invasive cardiac procedures

Scrub, monitor, and circulate during electrophysiology lab procedures while maintaining sterile technique

Operate and maintain X-ray and advanced imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound, and mapping systems such as CARTO, ESI, Boston, Affera)

Support cardiac procedures including pacemaker implants, atrial fibrillation ablations, EP studies, ICD implants, leadless pacemaker implants, Watchman/LAAO closures, and cardioversions

Recognize and interpret life-threatening arrhythmias and dysrhythmias

Maintain strict isolation precautions and ensure patient safety at all times

Participate in scheduled on-call rotations
