Job Description
We are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Mechanics and Lead Mechanics with over 3 years of experience. The roles are available across multiple sites, including Lynchburg and Roanoke, VA. Candidates will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from reading blueprints to leading teams, and will be working on projects with durations ranging from 6 months to a year.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
Lead and manage a crew of 2 to 6 team members, depending on experience.
Install duct work and related equipment efficiently and accurately.
Perform layout tasks for duct and equipment placement.
Supervise daily tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work sites.
Maintain and clean work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
Essential Skills
3 to 10 years of experience in sheet metal trade.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Ability to install duct work and use hand and power tools.
Experience in HVAC installation and sheet metal fabrication.
Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively.
Journeyman level experience is preferred.
Experience running a crew with 1 to 4 helpers is preferred.
Capability to measure and cut duct work using hand tools.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
Excellent people skills and a positive attitude.
Reliable transportation.

Work Environment
The work schedule includes Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with Saturday shifts from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The work involves exposure to varying temperatures and all weather conditions. A positive attitude, punctuality, and teamwork are essential, along with reliable transportation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
