Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment

Location: Wellsboro, Pennsylvania (16901) – Pennsylvania nursing jobs

Unit: Labor and Delivery (OB) – L&D nurse jobs

Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/8/2025, End: 12/7/2025)

Shift: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p & 7p-7a), rotating every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36 hours, with overtime opportunities

Call Requirement: Must be within 15 minutes of the hospital when on call

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience (must be clearly listed on resume)

Experience caring for female med-surg overflow patients preferred

Act 73 fingerprinting process must be initiated upon offer acceptance

BLS certification (AHA) required

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit

Monitor and support mothers throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum phases

Assist physicians and healthcare professionals during deliveries

Provide care for female medical-surgical overflow patients as needed

Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage

Respond promptly to call requirements within 15 minutes
