Overview of the opportunity

Within our Metals & Mining practice, we partner with leading corporations, financial sponsors, entrepreneurs, and governments to design and execute M&A, restructuring, and financing solutions that advance their strategic objectives.
Our lean team offers clients an informed, impartial perspective underpinned by deep sector expertise, extensive transaction experience, and a global network of industry and financing specialists. We take a long-term, independent view of the challenges our clients face and act as their trusted partner through every stage of the transaction process.
Responsibilities:
Execute and oversee multiple live transactions and client engagements simultaneously across the Metals & Mining sector.
Lead teams in the preparation of financial and economic analyses, valuation models, and industry materials to support client decision-making.
Drive the creation of transaction documents including information memoranda, management presentations, and offering materials.
Manage and mentor junior bankers to ensure high-quality execution while fostering professional development.
Play an active role in business development by originating and advancing strategic ideas, supporting client relationship management, and identifying new opportunities within the Metals & Mining sector.
Engage directly with clients and senior stakeholders to present analyses, develop solutions, and contribute to the execution of complex M&A and financing transactions.
Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to provide timely, relevant insights to clients and internal teams.
Qualifications and Experience
Significant prior experience in investment banking, advisory, or a related financial services role.
Exposure to Metals & Mining or broader natural resources transactions required.
Strong technical skills with proven ability to build and oversee complex financial models, conduct valuations, and perform financial statement analysis.
Leadership capabilities with experience managing teams and projects in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Strong client-facing skills with the ability to develop long-term relationships and contribute to business growth.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
