Senior Project Architect

IKM Architecture is seeking a Senior Project Architect with deep knowledge of construction systems and building technology, strong technical leadership, and someone who has a strong focus on quality control and a passion for mentoring project teams. This role is ideal for an experienced architect looking to make a broad impact by elevating technical standards, guiding project teams, and shaping firm-wide best practices.

Responsibilities:

Lead technical oversight for multiple projects, ensuring quality, constructability, and consistency in deliverables

Develop and maintain standardized construction details for firm-wide use

Mentor and educate staff in technical excellence, construction documentation, and emerging best practices

Support project management and delivery across all phases, with an emphasis on construction administration

Present technical solutions to clients in collaboration with project managers and design leads

Coordinate with project teams to guide technical strategy and ensure alignment with design intent

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture is required. Degree must be from an accredited school of architecture

Active Architecture license required

10+ years of architectural experience, with a proven track record in detail development and construction administration

Demonstrated expertise in building systems, materials, and emerging construction technologies

Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a collaborative and proactive mindset

Salary: $95,500 – $124,200
