Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Fulltime

Responsibilities * Performs psychiatric examinations and evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up consultation and health education * Works closely with the BHD and/or BHPs in identifying appropriate treatment plans for at-risk patients, or as needed * Intermittently attends morning huddle calls, when indicated and/or when there are high-risk patients that require multidisciplinary treatment planning and collaboration * Obtains patient histories, follows up with medication verification efforts, reviews pertinent medical history and develops patient care treatment plans, ensuring completeness and accuracy using the POMR format * Provides support in coordinating the activities of patient care and/or support staff * Participates in developing specific mental health policies and procedures, when indicated Qualifications * Current state license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner * Current CPR certificate * Two (2) years of experience in psychiatric and/or correctional healthcare setting * Proficient with electronic medical records * Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen If you want to join an exciting, dynamic and growing organization that is making a positive impact on the lives we serve, we look forward to considering you for this opportunity and to be part of our team!
