This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic General Sales Manager to join their leadership team and drive the next stage of growth across their multi-franchise operations.
The role
Our client is seeking a bold, numbers-driven, and people-focused leader to oversee dealership operations and deliver exceptional business performance. The General Sales Manager will be responsible for inspiring and managing the sales, service, Aftermarket, and F&I teams to achieve ambitious results while ensuring customers receive an outstanding experience at every touchpoint.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, motivating, and managing teams across sales, Aftermarket, F&I, and service to deliver world-class performance
- Developing and executing strategies to grow market share, increase profitability, and enhance the customer journey
- Overseeing day-to-day dealership operations, including inventory management, compliance, and cost control
- Monitoring KPIs, P&L, and performance data to make informed business decisions
- Coaching, mentoring, and fostering a winning team culture focused on growth and results
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards
About you
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven experience as a General Sales Manager (automotive industry experience preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate a diverse team
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction
- Confidence in customer engagement across digital platforms and social media
- Strong business acumen and experience managing P&L
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or related field (preferred)
