Role and Responsibilities

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Manager B2B based in San Jose, Costa Rica who will be responsible for developing the B2B business for Professional Display Category within Samsung's portfolio, managing three main product lines:

-Digital Signage: Solutions for industries and verticals such as airports, banks, corporate offices, restaurants, and education (interactive screens, videowalls, etc.

-Hospitality display: Hotel TVs designed for the hospitality sector, providing professional solutions for guest rooms.

-Outdoor displays: Large-format and outdoor display solutions for applications such as drive-thrus and Billboards

Key Job Responsabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Increase business revenue by identifying new business opportunities via market analysis.

2. Build an initial foundation for business such as building relationship with potential customers, website analysis, requirements review and etc.

3. Develop, mantain and strengthen relationships with end customers and business partners.

4. Position and grow the B2B brand in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

5. Achieve sales targets and expand the professional display portfolio.

6. Travel Periodically to support business development in both markets.

7. Lead in-house solution response scenarios projections (business modeling), TAM(Total Addressable Market) analysis, and identification of actual BO(Business Opportunity) including proposal execution and requirements draw-up.

8. Direct the analysis of trends by vertical business regarding the market, technology, competitor and etc., and the analysis of the value chain in the market.

9. Lead the possible scenarios review for each stage and management of targets to turn them into actuals.

Requirements:

[ Academic Background ]: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Commercial Engineering or related fields.

[ Professional Experience ]: 5 years of experience in sales and account management.

[ Specific knowledge / skills ]: Negotiation, communication, sales and marketing skills, english 85% (business english).

As an expert in the field, uses professional concepts in developing resolutions to critical issues and broad design matters

Works on issues that impact the success of business or addresses future concepts, products or technologies

Creates formal networks with key decision-makers and may serve as external spokesperson for the organization

Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments

May direct and control the activities of a broad function in one or more functional areas

Has overall responsibility for planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities and recommending and implementing changes and methods

Interacts internally and externally with executive-level management, requiring negotiation on extremely critical matters
