Position Description

Join our team as a Solo Class A CDL Truck Driver! Ryder is looking for dedicated individuals to embark on an exciting driving career.

Wondering about your earning potential? Expect to make $1600 or more per week!

Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Hourly Pay: $30.00 Per Hour

Travel Time: $20.00 Per Hour

Work Hours: 50 - 60 hours per week

Mileage Reimbursement: $0.70

Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night away from home

Paid Training

Schedule: Varies

Start Time: AM/PM Dispatch

Deliver SOLO to: East Coast and TX

Route: OTR

Tractor Type: Sleeper, Day Cabs, and 26' Straight Trucks

Trailer Type: Dry Van, Conestoga, Flatbed 48', 53'

Comprehensive training on equipment provided

Freight: Touch - Varies

Ability to travel to Canada within 90 days of hire is required

Covers multiple Ryder accounts in the East Coast

Our trucks are modern, with an average age of 36 months or newer, and come with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance. Company drivers refuel at over 800 nationwide maintenance facilities.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle Check

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder Road Test

Possess a valid Class A CDL and necessary endorsements

Minimum of 9 months experience within the past 3 years or equivalent experience

Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities

Compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations

Identify and manage safety hazards

Maintain accurate logs and records

Assist with loading/unloading freight as needed

Additional duties as assigned
