Reports to: Director of Transportation
General Summary: The primary job will be a School Bus Driver.
Responsibilities:
Being attentive to traffic and weather conditions and ensuring passenger safety.
Following the planned route and schedule for departure times and stops.
Reporting delays, accidents, and emergencies.
Inspecting the vehicle thoroughly before and after each trip.
Enforcing conduct and safety rules on the bus.
Maintaining a clean vehicle.
Ensure safety of all students Qualifications: Class B CDL with passenger (P) endorsement and school bus driver (S) endorsement
Other requirements - Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education
