\n\n2nd shift (3:15pm-11:45pm M-F) \n\nShift premium 7% of base wage\n\n\n3rd shift (11:15pm-7:45am S-Th)\n\nShift premium 10% of base wage\n\n\n\n Position Overview:\n The Hunter Douglas Plastics & Die Casting facility has manufactured and assembled plastic injection moldings in Owensboro, KY since 1981.This position is responsible for safely and efficiently setting injection molds to produce products that meet customer specifications in accordance with established policies and procedures.
\n What you'll do\n\nSafely and efficiently set, cycle-in and trouble shoot injection molds\nSet-up process related equipment; dryers, hoppers and color feeders\nDiagnoses, troubleshoots, and documents mold issues\nReads part drawings and verifies parts for quality requirements\nPerform color changes\nStarting up and shutting down injection molding machines\nPerforms preventive maintenance on molds\nTroubleshoots and performs minor maintenance on equipment\nUse of measuring equipment (calipers and micrometers)\nAll other duties as assigned\n\n Who you are\n\nMechanical aptitude and the ability to perform in a dynamic work environment.
