You will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, particularly in the non-profit and employee benefit plan (EBP) sectors, helping to identify areas for improvement and providing valuable insights.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and deadlines.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the audit process.Review and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance client operations and compliance.Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients, ensuring clarity and understanding.Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting the audit and assurance sectors.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audit and assurance services, preferably with a focus on non-profit and EBP sectors.Strong understanding of GAAP and other regulatory frameworks relevant to auditing.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective working relationships with clients and team members.
