The role

As a Talent Acquisition Director, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping how we attract, engage and develop exceptional talent across our organisation. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll oversee strategic recruitment delivery, manage key partnerships and champion emerging talent programmes that support our long-term capability needs.

Leading strategic recruitment delivery across all levels, ensuring alignment with business goals and values

Managing our RPO and MSP partnerships to ensure high quality, compliant and efficient talent solutions

Overseeing senior and executive hiring with a consistent, high-impact approach

Designing and delivering inclusive early careers programmes including graduates, apprentices, interns, and “Recruit to Grow” pathways

Collaborating with senior stakeholders to enhance employer branding and talent attraction strategies

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.

Essential experience of the Talent Acquisition Director

Proven leadership in recruitment functions, including executive hiring and contingent workforce management

Strong understanding of RPO and MSP models, with experience in vendor governance

Track record of designing and delivering early careers or emerging talent programmes

Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels

Data-driven approach with the ability to interpret recruitment metrics and trends

Qualifications for the Talent Acquisition Director

Essential:

Significant experience in talent acquisition leadership roles

Preferred:

CIPD or equivalent HR qualification

Experience in programme design or talent development

Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment analytics tools

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
