For our client, a leading Irish food, and convenience retailer in Co. Cork, Ireland, we are looking for Food Preparation Workers.

Candidate information/requirements:

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of work experience in a customer-facing role, including (convenience/grocery) stores, as well as fast foods, canteens, etc.

Excellent customer service, good communication, and organizational skills

Complying with the food and safety standards

A good level of English is required

About the job:

Permanent, full-time position

If moving to Ireland from abroad, you will be provided with two weeks of free accommodation. After that, you would be paying between 400 € to 600 € per month for a private room in the nearby area (utilities aren’t included)

Salary after tax in Ireland for this Food preparation worker role will be between 1.780 € to 1.815 € net per month (23.930 € to 24.440 € gross; before tax, per year) for 40 hours per week

Salary is paid weekly on an hourly basis (approximately 410 € to 418 € net per week)

Your duties will be: responsible for preparing, packaging, and serving deli products to customers, weighing and portioning food items, maintaining high standards of hygiene, greeting customers and keeping them happy, and taking orders
